True Therapeutic Massage was started with the idea that any massage treatment you receive should be as unique as you and your goals. Everyone experiences the pressure of touch somewhat differently so I adapt each session to provide the specific work that you need each and every massage. Exercises, stretches, or helpful tips tailored to you may be suggested to keep you on the path of wellness between sessions.
I am a graduate of Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in Rochester, NY. I consider myself fortunate to be able to provide people relief from pain, stress, or injury, while helping improve their health and well-being.
Having a previous career as a forensic chemist, I view Therapeutic Massage as a perfect blend of my love of research science with my desire to help others. Massage Therapy is an exciting and expanding field with new research constantly adding to our knowledge of how, and why massage is so beneficial. Keeping up with the latest research and continuing to extend my education with additional therapy techniques is part of my commitment to developing an incomparable level of professional and personal service.
I am also a strong proponent of giving back to my community. Volunteering my services as a therapist to those who can use support is a privilege. I have recently joined the dedicated staff at St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center who volunteer their services to those in need who are uninsured or underinsured.
